The latest M2e Instant Smart 1080p portable LED projector will be launched soon. The new function of the M series smart portable LED projector adopts time of flight (ToF) technology, and realizes real-time autofocus with an ultra-light and portable design.

ToF technology enables M2e to automatically focus immediately within 1 second, which is 3-5 times the current method. It has impeccable optical accuracy, easy setup, and its portability allows you to flexibly entertain and work at home.

ToF sensor is a LIDAR (light detection and ranging) technology without a scanner, which can measure the distance based on the time it takes for photons to travel between the sensor’s emitter and the target area, regardless of the surface characteristics of the object. Achieve accurate distance measurement. They also have high-precision linearity and a detection range of up to 3m, and have a complete field of view.

Traditionally, when moving the projector, it is necessary to refocus by pressing a button on the remote control to trigger auto focus, or manually adjust the focus ring. With the built-in G sensor design, M2e can detect the change of the setting position and use ToF technology to automatically trigger instant autofocus. Focusing is not only more precise, but it takes only one second to complete, which is 3–5 times faster than normal autofocus using a camera for continuous image capture and matching, not to mention adjustment by manual focus ring.
